Fully open source

Find your focus.

One task, one timer, your music, and a space that disappears around the work. FocusSpace is a pomodoro workspace — and the same tools are open to Hermes and OpenClaw. Fully open source.

How it works

One core. Two ways in.

You, Ask AI, and your agents all hit the same tools and the same data. Nothing forks. The board you see is the board they edit.

You

Pick a task. Run the ring.

Pomodoro

Your length. Your count.

Focus is 5–120 minutes — you set it. Three pomodoros at 25 minutes is not three at 50. Estimates, including half-pomo leftovers, scale with the length you chose. Sessions stay tied to a task, with smart breaks and a timeline of dots so you can see where you are.

Projects & tasks

Break it down. Then run.

Projects hold tasks. Tasks hold subtasks, tags, notes, and a pomodoro estimate. One tap on Run and you're in the ring with that task already selected.

Focus AI

Say it. The board moves.

Ask AI is the in-app assistant. Plain language becomes tool calls — add, edit, retag, re-estimate. Deletes wait for a confirm. Conversations stay in your database, not a pile we train on.

MCP & agents

Hermes and OpenClaw. Same hands as you.

Paste the one-liner. The agent installs a local, no-login FocusSpace and wires MCP. It can do everything a human can: tasks, timer, music, analytics. After it adds a task, it asks before starting the timer. Individual login on a self-host is coming later. iOS and Android are planned — Hermes and OpenClaw work today.

MCP

One protocol into the same tool layer a human uses.

Local FocusSpace

No login. SQLite on the machine. Tasks, timer, music, analytics.

Analytics

The hours, not the dopamine.

Heatmaps, streaks, breakdowns by project and by tag. The same numbers are available over MCP — an agent can fetch your week, not just look at the charts in the UI.

The space

It disappears around the work.

Spotify lives in the dock. Living wallpapers and weather effects sit behind the glass. Focus mode hides everything but the ring. Tint and blur so the UI sits on your space — not on a stock theme.

Open source & self-host

Yours to run.

Clone it. Change it. Host it. Local mode is npm or Docker, SQLite, no login — one implicit user on the machine. The hosted cloud at focusspace.live uses Supabase. Want that stack on your own servers? The README has the steps.

Coming soon

What's already here, and what isn't.

Hermes and OpenClaw work today. Per-user auth on an individual self-host, plus native iOS and Android apps, are next.

Per-user login on self-host

Local is one implicit user right now. Individual accounts on a personal install are coming later.

iOS

A native app is planned. Not shipping yet — Hermes and OpenClaw cover the agent side today.

Android

Same story. Planned. The desktop agents and the web app are the path that exists now.

Sit down. Start the ring.

Free to use on the web. Free to run on your machine. Hand the line to an agent if you'd rather it set things up.
